However I’ve dropped a lot of inspirations over time and narrowed it down to a core few! I kinda wanted to get across in what way they’ve influenced me so I made a lil’ collage. :D From left to right downwards: Satoshi Kon (and the talented animators who worked on his movies!) Yoshiyuki Sadamoto Range Murata Hayao Miyazaki joel27 @ deviantart  The movie Magnetic Rose (character design by Toshiyuki Inoue, art direction also by Satoshi Kon!) The movie Ghost in the Shell (character design by Hiroyuki Okiura) Katsuhiro Otomo (I should note I also like the older work of Japanese comic artists like Kenichi Sonoda and Kosuke Fujishima. :3) Haccan Alain Dodier Impressionism Albert Uderzo Yoshitoshi Tsukioka Tsukasa Jun Anastasia (I like the art in the movie) and Don Bluth’s other work Secret of NIMH Disney (my favourite being Hunchback of Notre Dame, character design by Jeff Baxter) Sorry for the wall of text, hope you found it interesting anyway! ^^
